The Princess

I am posting these pictures in case you have never seen a princess before. Austrella is the princess of pillows and the queen of all she surveys. I did take her to obedience school, but I think I was the one that did the learning, not her. I am not a totally terrible parent, I have drawn the line on a futon in the computer room, the only room in the house that doesn't have something for her to lie on while she surveys her queendom.

Finally, His Royal Highness Yukon, hiding out until I put the camera away...

I love the third photo of Austrella. She looks very regal for a creature who eats things she finds on the floor.

gnat: Go to the local shelter and save a dog. Both of ours are pound puppies.

ec: They take after their dad!!

ll: Yukon has his own fan and Austrella is the original sun dog. She is always out working on her dog tan. Mrs. Phos, on the other hand, is hot anywhere!

/t.: No hotdogs, Only tamales!!

sl: You can tell she never gets her way!!

ll: Right you are - I'd forgotten!

keshi: I think she'd be right at home with you on one of your shopping trips, she has great fashion sense, for a husky.

I think your dogs must be nice ones and good watch dogs.

She's so beautiful!

She also looks hungry for a Sasquatch steak.

The first pic looks like she's a model walking the catwalk!! (Or should that be the dogwalk??) Beautiful dogs, no wonder they 'rule the roost'!

Beautiful dogs. I don't think it would be fair on my part to have dogs in the cramped city I inhabit - certainly they need a lot of roaming space?

Beautiful, kissable dog noses, do you think they would eat my cats?

LL: The only thing they watch is the refrigerator! They are very friendly and keep us entertained.

dan: Nothing like a good medium rare hunk of 'squatch!!

kb: They are good at throwing off guilt rays. We hate to leave them during the day!!

sj: We have a yard and the house. Yukon practices running the Iditarod through the house sometimes.

leelee: They really take over your house and heart. I am sill not over the loss of Lucky Dog and that was years ago. It is as though we lost one of our kids.

ruela: Knew you were a dog person, too nice not to be...

tkk: Cats are a menu item. They are not really too keen on other dogs either. Yukon has an Alpha complex and Austrella has issues from her previous life.

I'll admit to not being a dog person at all, but these two are just beautiful.
