There Was One???
I am a little groggy after having been up at 0200Hrs to watch the eclipse, but it was worth it. What a sight. I managed to get a couple pictures though not all turned out that well.

Keshi.
That looks very nice. I like it.
/t.: mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.... Donuts!!
keshi: You guys get to have everything first - you always get to celebrate New Years first too. I guess that is compensation for having to live upside down all the time.
ll: Thanks ll!!!
wait
a minute,
that's not a donut hole
phos, that's a pic of the moon
i am listening to sarah brightman singing dvorak's la luna right now and mooning passers-by out my window
/t.
I didn't realize there were two pictures.
/t.: Moon Over Calgary??
LL: I just added the top one...
wow...great picture of that blood moon...really great!
Cool. Over here a fable that we learn as kids says that the moon is swallowed by a snake causing an eclipse. Did you happen to see a snake there?
leelee: It was pretty spooky looking!
sj: No snake, just the Husky in the Moon
The moon is always beautiful :)
well on behalf of the east cost bloggers thanks for taking the picture so we could see it too :)
Very nice Phos!! Thanks to you I didn't have to wake up early.
Sucker! :)
Love the bottom photo! I tried to get up for it. My big mistake was reading an article the day before saying that if I miss this one I should be able to see the next one in 6 months... At 5am, that next opportunity in 6mos looked really good! lol
Glad to see your photos!
great pic.
It made me hungry for some reason. This I will never understand.
Gnat.
.
Many folks out here said it was spectacular... I was asleep unfortunately.
Thanks for sharing the AZ version.
Love the pics phos. It was beautiful wasn't it?
I also love seeing how it's upside down compared to pics from over this side :)
There was an eclipse? Damn, what you miss when you refuse to watch the news.
The eclipse was worth the lost sleep. I am still trying to catch up in fact. I love all your comments and appreciate everyone stopping by. I need to go visiting myself, perhaps tonight. It was nice to see some new names as well. Blogging is definetly about community, I think that is why I enjoy it so much.
The partial eclipse picture is really crisp. Stunning!
sl: Thanks!!
GREAT pics!! It looked JUST like that over here too, funnily enough!!! haha
