Red Fish, Blue Fish, Old Fish, New Fish
Couldn’t stand the empty tank so Freddy’s successor Mac is now in residence. Fred was a blue fish, Mac is red but I don’t think it had anything to do with their politics.
Here’s a picture of a crappy plastic cat toy made in China. For some reason or another I can’t help but laugh every time I look at the goofy thing waving its paw. I swear it is the funniest thing I have ever seen and it never grows old. Ah, the simple pleasures.
Good news, the new Tom Waits album “Orphans: Brawlers, Bawlers, and Bastards” comes out 21 November.

And that cat, I'll have you know, it the Fortune Cat! If you laugh at it often enough, your moolah issues might rise. Be a good PK and pat its head and feed it oranges or tangerines... which might be a bit difficult, now that I think on it. The orange crops have been doing poorly in recent years...

T&B:My brother said the same thing about Freddy’s replacement. The quick turn around will help give my wife some food for thought. I would actually never do that - a family member married way too soon and has been on the list o’ shit ever since. Sicilians can be a really hateful bunch at times. A good luck POS cat - interesting. I feed it batteries, so I guess the cat is good fortune for Duracell.

Blue is a more calming color too, I could see how you relaxed watching a blue fishy. Red guy looks cool too. Hope he fits in the family well.

Yay! Mac's cute! We lost our Beta not long ago, I think you would have liked his name. Daughter named him Yankee Doodle, because he was Red/White&Blue! He died on Independance Day, of all days... Made us sad too, he was our first family 'pet'...
Love the 'good luck - money' cat. Haven't entered an asian variety store that didn't have one in the window, plus a few more scattered around the place ;)
