Cool pictures. How'd you impale that bird on your rake?

Keshi: The bird keeps a close eye on the backyard; he attacks any other birds trying to tap the feeder. Yukon doesn’t seem to care about the hummingbirds, which is a good thing, I suppose.

Hammer: He likes the rake because he can keep a close eye on the feeder to make sure no other bird tries to feed. Sometimes he hides in our lemon tree and ambushes the other birds. Actually He is kind of an asshole is you think about it.

Jin: I am such a boy – jets, fire engines, guns, lots of fun!!

DM: You guys are neutral, no worries, just don’t crash any airliners into our buildings.

You finally got the Purple throated rake hummingbird! How long did you have to wait on him?

Yukon has such cute chin whiskers.

SL: Didn't have to wait all that long - he doesn't stray far from the feeder.

Yuke is very photogenic, when he lets that happen...

Oh that hummingbird is WAY too cute. I've held one once. It knocked itself out in our bay window, I picked it up, fearing it had broken its neck, but it just sat in my hand, little heart beating 1 000 000 times a minute! So small.
Yukon is soooo handsome. I want to burry my face in his fur. I miss my pups...

Jewels: I have video of our son as a small boy holding the feeder in his hand with humming birds tapping the feeder. It was migration season so there were a bunch of the little birds – it looked like the holding pattern at O’Hare.

I wouldn’t recommend shoving your face into Yukon’s fur – he likes to dig so there’s no telling what might be in there. He’s a good boy but he definitely traded brains for fur.
