Ah, yes. One of the more spritely dinosaurs.
Four big throats pouring gas into eight burning cylinders, burning rubber along the nation's highways!
MY GOD! There are places here that will never need repaving for the rubber skin on the road!
(uh...I'll still vote for you, but, if that's the congressman's car?
I'm leaving right after the election)

Boneman: If you could keep your foot off the accelerator they weren't too bad on gas, the trick was not letting the beast off the leash...

LL: Back in the day when gas was 50 cents a gallon

/t.: No but it runs on lamb oil...

It'd go great with the Bruce Springsteen song "Born to Run"

Highways filled with broken heroes on a last-chance power drive.

well, yeah. I guess so.
But, when i bought my 72 Mustang with the 351 Cleveland and ripped new butholes for all the Camero drivers on the Southside (bad! boneman. Bad!)
but, I was young, just out of the Army and stupid.

Favorite car?
1958 Buick Special.
Why oh why did I let that one go?

but i still remember my parent's ford galaxy from the early 60s..

The nice thing is you didn't need airbags, you were surrounded by a half-ton of unyielding steel.

Nice set of wheels. Makes you want to go way over the speed limit in that thing.

Sorry, but I'm a Mopar man, myself.
Olds, Pontiacs, and Chevys are a close second (I've never really been a big Ford fan).
Those '65 330s were some neat little small blocks, though (and don't be like the Ponti guys and tell me there's no such thing as Olds small/big blocks).
