Pacing the Floor

I read an article claiming time travel is impossible. Something about being able to go backwards and forwards in space and distance, but the ways the law of physics are set up, you can only go forward in time. This latest revelation is disappointing in that this means I can’t travel back in time and kick myself in the ass for buying a house in El mirage.

This is going to be short as I am on the cusp of grandpahood. Pretty exciting stuff. I thought maybe they would name the lad Phos II, or Phosworth, or something like that, but maybe it would be best if Phos didn’t become a family name. I just barely dodged the old family name - McAllister. Fortunately for me my Dad’s Labrador retriever was selected to carry on the tradition. I don’t think dogs care what you call them as long as there is food involved.

The Maintenance required light went on, reminding me of Little Lamb’s post on auto repairs. It is no coincidence that the light flicked don the minute I hit 10K miles. I was told by the deal that “We need to do an inspection on the car”. So now even your own car has been turned against you.

I think we should start dirty sock Wednesday, like Half Naked Thursday, only with socks.

I found out from KB that New Zealand doesn’t have Kangaroos, or Kookaburras, or dingoes. I am thinking about taking up a collection to buy them some, because it just doesn’t seem right them not having any. Well, at least they have hobbits there…

COngratulations on being on the cusp of Grapndpahood, and LoL on that family name.. but you know what? I do believe that time travel is possible..umm.. in my version, you will be able to kick yourself, but you wont be able to change the decision.. :-)

I like the concept of time travel, but let's face it...if it ever became possible in the future, we would have been visited by now!

I vote we put together a fund to get the little snapper a gas mask like Grandpa Phos.

DSW just kind of creeps me out on way to many levels to list.

Phos, I also wanted to let you know that I am having a little contest over at the Glassblog. Who ever wins is going to get a custom made glass paperweight. The contest is the contest...weird but true.

Anyway, drop by I would enjoy see what colors you come up with if you won. I have to vision of a camo color paperweight...

Time-traveling ... They assume they know what they are talking about. But the truth is not depending on what "they" suppose to have "proofen".
When one scientist say one thing another scientist proof the opposite, anyway.

Congratulation with becoming a grandpa ...

Bullcrap! I just went back in time and kicked your ass for buying that house in El Mirage.

You should be feeling a pain in your butt very soon.

Keshi: See one! I had two of ‘em for lunch. They are little on the chewy side actually.

hdwk: If it is possible it will be someone from India that discovers it our kids suck at math.

DM: Good suggestion, but I don’t think I got naming rights on this one, Mario might be good for the next one, though!!

fuff: Indeed they are…

DAK: Maybe – I am a little reluctant to post family pictures (other then the canine members) in the Blogsphere. We’ll be going to see the li’l critter here pretty quick so maybe then…

tkk: Actually leaving the mask on might spare the tyke a real blow – he’ll be afraid he may wind up with my looks later in life.

/t.: Yeah, he was Li’l Abner’s hero. Dogpatch, Mammy Yokum, Daisy May, what a bunch!! They had great cartoons back then – Pogo, Jigs and Molly, etc.

As I told DM, I was barred from any naming rights. I’ll be lucky if they let me near him until he’s 18…

I have no desire to go back in time and I think one limitation on going forward would be a person’s eventual death. Could you go past that event – I don’t think so.

Gnat:. Contest? I am a professional loser boy, but I will wander on over and see what it be like. We may need the gas mask if my memories of babies are accurate.

Kirsten: I think the scientists have this one right, can’t say why, just a gut feeling. Thanks for the wishes!!

LL: Two words: Drum Set!!! I can’t wait!

DAN: Thanks Dan, but the pain in the butt position is already filled by Mrs. Phos.

I feel honored you'd include me in one of your posts.
