Rainy Days and Turkeys

The house has gone quiet, everyone has returned to their homes, the smells, the sounds, the laughter have all died away - tomorrow it is back to work and as if the holiday never happened. Tiny House goes back to being just a place to live until the next time the kids and their families come to breathe life back into the place, fill the air with memories, the smells of coking, the laughing, dogs roaming through blocks and other toys scattered across the floor in search of hand out's and Max taking center stage. Something to look forward to...

LL wisely said almost all of importance.
May I add that the photo is very powerful in the light of Your decription.

Nice to have you back Phos dear, I'm pleased that you had a lovely time with your family. ♥
That is such a lovely photo of the house and those great clouds.
Dont worry your house will be filled with the joy of family again soon as Christmas isn't far away.
I hope you have a nice day at work, the first day back is always the saddest. ♥

great photo!
sometimes it's hard to get used to the quiet when there's been all this hustle and bustle .. of the good kind ..
but, then there's always the anticipation of more of what was ..
just like you wrote.

Thanks all!! It is nice to see you and hope you all had a good holiday/weekend. Going from a full house to an empty one is kind of like slamming the brakes on - an abrupt jarring event. foam is correct, the anticipation is sometimes the best part. Helps one to keep putting one foot in front of the other through the work week. Now to dig out the Holiday Tamale recipe...
