4 the Birds

Roaring hot here today, the temps rose up to 112. Even most of the birds were grounded except for one vulture who was playing in the thermals generated by the heat.

I don't want to alarm you... but people are writing things in your sky. I can't make out what it says but it can't be good.

112, that's like... 45°C... yeah, that IS hot. We only get that once or twice a year in Sydney.

/t.: But it's a dry heat!!

foam: We probably won't see 83 in the daytime again until Fall

ll: Yep, I love them too - deep fried and crispy!

gt3: Sounds cold in Cecilius. 45F and I have on a parka.

indigo: I am the opposite. Don't mind the heat so much, but it drops below 70 and I am looking for a coat!

keshi: Our dogs like to try to catch 'em too...

Gets to 40+ Celsius in summer here too. Add around 90% humidity.

And the sky says "Currer 08".

Those turkey vultures get to be huge. I hit one with my car once and it was not a pretty sight.

I'll be right over if you protect me from that vulture.

kb: Anything below 70 is freezing

a-l: Welcome back from your wanderings!!! Can't wait to see pictures of the wilds of Sweden...

fuff: I'll have to finish some day...

ec: I'll set some extra places

hammer: I saw the flight deck of a C-130 after they took one through the windscreen - what a mess, even bent the frame. The only way they could even tell it was a vulture is maintenance found a couple tail feathers.

ll: The vulture would only be interested in you if you were already dead.
