The Old Gray Stallion Just Ain’t What He Used to Be…
Well our Chinese New Year celebrations I over, I am shoveling out the kitchen – seems every time I think I am close to done I find another empty wine bottle. Anyway, it was a lot of fun; we had a good turn out lots of food, fun, and drink. I think it was the drink part that got me – Ol’ Phos used to drink two or three liters of wine no problem. Ok, I wouldn’t get behind the wheel, but I was ok and felt fine the next day. I probably had one liter of wine, between bottles of Pinot and Merlot and am zombified today.
Good luck and prosperity have already shined down upon
Well in the words of the bard, I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in, so out here for now, and happy New Year to all!!!

well it looks like a lot of fun. well they say that our liver slows down as we get older so maybe thats why you felt worse. i finally found some chamagne i like - with strawberries - i am sipping on it as we speak
DAK: I like a mimosa once in awhile - orange juice and champagne. Mostly I go for a nice dry red, though.
looks like fun. could of used some Tart.
kung hei fat choy!:>
l>t: You are welcome anytime...
lady luxie: Right back at you and thanks for dropping by!!
Really looks like a great day! Cool.
But did I spot some dust on the bottom of the tiny house? ;)
btw. I just learned that I'm a pig as well! I mean not a real pig, but born in the year of the pig. bet you already knew that ;)
oink oink oink
Nice Buddha collection. My stepmom is Buddhist and I always like looking at her little guys.
Welcome into the new Year, Phos.
Looks like a great time :)
What was the little booklet thing all about?
Looks like it was a successful party. How did the ribs turn out?
Did you light some firecrackers in the foyer?
DM: That isn’t dust it is probably fur. Vacuum as we might the fur prevails. As a Pig, you should have a very lucky life – hey look, you got a new camera, how lucky is that!!
Chickie: The boys watch over me. I have a couple in the kitchen as well – they are back up for the Kitchen God. As I have said before I like to hedge my bets.
Kirsten: Thanks!! So far so good. I was lucky enough to have today off – President’s Day, don’t you know.
Cameraena: Mrs. Phos compiled information about Chinese New Year and the Year of the Pig. We update it every year so if anyone is interested they can read up on what the celebrating is all about. I think everyone had fun and I didn’t run out of food – always a big worry…
Phoenix: I wanted to, but Mrs. Phos won’t let me have things that explode or involve fire. That is probably for the best.
awww I just love Yukon!
Keshi.
I'm still recovering from Robert Burns Day
2005
Keshi: He is a character
nanuk: I am waiting for George and Gracie Burns day...
What a great party!
I want to reach thru the screen & scratch Yukon behind the ears!!!
Oooooooops! Wrong post.
Jin:That is his stalking prey face so he would probably be after some of your delicious cookies at this point
LL: Thanks!
Looks like you had a great day! Red wine hates me. If I drink any more than a couple of glasses the hangover that ensues is horrendous.
Yukon was just acting like a pig. You can't be mad at him for getting into the spirit of the celebration.
Mmmm, vino, I like vino. I like Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and am quite partial to Champagne... Oooh, those bubbles! LoL
Looks like those folks were guarding their plates well, and who can blame them: You made all those goodies yourself, didn't you? OMG! You make Dim Sum, don't you???? That's it! I'm moving in! The Tiny House is about to get crowded: Move over tiny Buddhas, we need room for my BEADS!!! LoL!!!
kung hei fat choy from this Rat! (I love being a Rat!) ;)
Oh, BTW: How cute are YOU, decorating with little pigs. Oh, and handouts? Are those HANDOUTS!?! OH, can I please move in? Please???? I'll let you play with my beads... How's that?
