Breathing space

A little time in between storms to catch our breath, well at least here in the far West valley. The East part of the city got schwacked, power poles down, flooding, cats and dogs living together, tragedy of biblical proportions. We didn't even get any rain from the last bout, though we have had quite a bit considering this is a desert.

Mrs. Phos is fixin' to start up at school again, the little tykes show up next week some time, though she is already hard at it with all the prep. I'll be starting classes here shortly learning photography, web development and Adobe Illustrator. I spent some time as an illustrator back in the good old AF days, even working in a dark room from time to time and I really enjoyed it. I'm not much of an artist, but I am interested in building web pages so am taking classes to that end. 58 years old and still don;t have the slightest idea what I want to be when I grow up. Time is growing short ...

oh wait--meant to say how right you are about the space program--what mypopic vision (best case) the obamabntion has, if no outright treachery.

of course, I'se 50 miles from CapeK so I ain't impartial, but yore points are spot on.

AB: Osama bin Obama lied to get elected (no surprise there, they all do it) and now turns around and cuts off teachers, the space program, and the military. He isn't fit to swab toilets must less lead a free nation. Wonder how the knuckle heads that voted him in feel now. It's not all their fault really -- they didn't have any choice. I predict the next election will be more of the same. We need an Independent to run successfully for the presidency, preferably without Sarah shit-for-brains Palin as a running mate.

I still love the toy cameras and use them off and on. The big problem is finding somewhere to get film developed, especially the 120. I suspect the day of film is sunsetting rapidly.
