Mo' Rain

Just when you thought it was safe to wash the car we get hit again. Not too bad on this side of town, but on the East side Mesa got slammed. Golf ball to tennis ball sized hail, power poles down, torrential rain and wind, and flooding. In comaprison we only got a few sprinkles, but I'll happily give up a bit of moisture rather than get hit with microbursts and driving rain.

Still some ominous clouds in the sky today, but they are farther North. The area near Flagstaff even had tornado warnings, rather rare for here. On the bright side, the temps are down in the 90's and look to remain so for the rest of the week.

Gosh Phossy dear, when you said that there had been a 'big wet kiss' on the East side I didn't realise that there had been a major storm front.
If you do get some rain I hope it is just moderate and will cool the temperatures down some more.
xoxoxo ♡

Foam: It drops below 75 and I am looking for my jacket. I could never move back to WI.

Di: Pretty rough on the East side, and a small town near Flagstaff was struck by 4 x twisters this morning.

drought here abouts.
We're in some odd split from the norm.
Even the well is dry.

SC: It was only 64 when we took the husky for a walk this morning. I thought I'd see ice or something...

We've been having more rain recently in Baltimore and it's been desperately needed. The heat and drought of summer came pretty close to killing all the trees. It was bas enough that the leaves all started turning brown at the edges. I've never seen that happen before.

Fortunately, we have the assurances of George Bush and Pat Robertson (noted ecologists) that climate change isn't happening, ha ha ha!
