don't think bad omen, but perhaps bad weather! Could be some interesting winds around the corner or you never know what they consist of... especially that close to the air base... okay should stop teasing you... but the truth is, I'm usually pretty good at this, always know a sky when I see one, but I can't tell you either... would just say it's the wind from different directions that came up with those formations - in combination with the heat.

oh while I remember... what do you mean ask the French? They've always cooperated with them!!! Just one not so dirty example from the recent past: you're into aviation, who do you think is behind the Airbus-enterprise or who worked together pushing all the EU-bussiness through?

The ones the French never cooperated with were the British! probably because they didn't take it all to well because they had the rats accidently eat Napoleons brain... seriously! I read a book by a historian once who claimed that that was what really happened and that this is the very reason why everybody thinks Napoleon wasn't very tall... where in fact it was the brain of a monkey which the British delivered to the French... I guess he must have met a member of my family - who all would have been perfectly able to come up with this sort of sloppyness - and concluded that all Brits would be that way...
