Not Always a Dry Heat
Had a little rain leading up to the weekend, would that there had been a bit more but when in the desert one has to be content with what he gets. The weather cleared for the weekend so we have that going for us, which is nice. Lacking any lamb, I will grill some bratwurst for lunch. I like to slowly simmer the brats in beer with some onion and a little butter. Then it's off to the grill to crisp them up a bit before serving with some sauteed onions and bell peppers. It's a great way to cap off the weekend...

Pretty pictures,
You said you were slowly roasting the brats... At first glance I didn't think this was bratwurst you were talking about.
Nice pics Phossy dear, we had some very heavy rain last week but today was beautiful.. sunny and 73deg. ♡

more brats/t.
We had snow this morning. Great, big, Christmas Eve-type snowflakes. It looks very strange when it snows on top of green grass and trees with green leaves.
It's all melted now but still. Snow on May 26. Grrrr....
Nice pics!

I am always impressed by your cacti pictures. You live in such a neat environment!
Love that cactus pic.
All kinds of ways to make the chow, but, if you slow grill them anyway, do you put an open can of beer in the grill, too?
Keeps stuff less than dried out.
Even if it isn't lamb...
