Markets and Goofy Gods

Got to go to Lee Lee's today. It is a huge Oriental Megamart with everything from statues of the Elephant God guy to live fish. Now I am sorry if I offend anyone that might worship the Elephant Dude, but next to the Scientology hoohah, this has to vie for first place for goofy things to worship. Don't know whether to pray to him or toss him a peanut!! Of course it'll be just my luck that I'll die, get up to the head of the line and there sits the Elephant man.

oh...fresh fish?
I dunno about that so much.
Aren't those striped fish up there small moth bass? And those black, rice sized black spots? Turds.
So, they're in a tank with a bunch of bass turds. How fresh could that be?

These statues might be revered but I think they look a little 'tacky' as in over decorated and I really dont like seeing fish kept in tanks like that...doesnt seem hygienic or fair.
Yes we have places here in Chinatown, restaurants with live fish and lobsters that diners can choose to have cooked; the tanks look so dirty I dont know how anyone could eat anything from them and I think the food health inspector should close them down.
Sorry Phossy dear... ♡

Sorry to have disrespected UberElephant... As for the fish you need to see their natural environment - the water is worse there I'll guarantee. That and they aren't going to be around long enough to suffer.
