Alive and Kickin'

Back from the Tucson expedition and it was a hoot.

We saw:

The "Hotpaws Range," named after the rest stop were the sidewalk gets a bit too warm for pups.

Hit our favorite bookstore



A weird motorcycle




A good time was had by all!!!

But, dang if I didn't think that you found them (I lost part of m'choppers round the house) but then I looked.
Nah. Cave bear.
But, I gotta disagree with ya on that last.
Ain't no such thing as 'weird' motorcycles till we figure it all out. Heck, that might be a high-powered form of hybrid.

That's all the stuff that I would done on vacation. Bookstores and gems, minerals, and fossils exhibits. The Smithsonian Museum of Natural History is my favorite museum! Looks like you had fun!

Great photos Phossy, especially the mountains...those minerals look so colourful, I would be hanging around the book stores too.
My son has a great collection of fossils,minerals and meteorites, he likes your photos.
I have some yellow and pink quartz, and an ammonite fossil in a piece of rock from Morocco. ♡
