Lingering Clouds





Despite the lack of significant precipitation storms keep popping up. My weather warning radio keeps going off but the big storms have stayed to the East or South of us. We do get the wind and dust, of course - a hazard of living in the desert. If you live here long enough when the sun hits your windshield just right you can see all the sparkles from the pits left by the blowing sand. Back in Southern California the sand actually scoured all the paint off the front part of my car hood.

these are so interesting. the IR effect gives the photos almost a retro aged 60s look. ... at least for me. something about them reminds me of these faced older photos and postcards i have from florida from the 60s and early 70s.
