End of Monsoons?
Looks as though the end of Monsoon Season is upon us. We did manage to get some rain. I'd like to say I feel bad for the folks in New Orleans, but they apparently didn't get the message the first time. Fortunately the government is standing by with our tax dollars to bail them all out again. I don't know what it will take before folks realize it is time to give NO up as a lost cause and rebuild on higher ground, rather than count on dirt dikes to hold off the inevitable. On the bright side the airwaves haven't been flooded with Johnny McLame AKA King George W the II. I am still trying to figure out how you can be pro-life and pro-gun at the same time, but then I am a bit slow.

Well said! I agree, that land needs to be condemned. I don't get it.
Not to mention pro-death penalty.

I share your view about NO too.
NO. Hmmm, doesn't that spell no? Hmmm.
You might want to look at the three part article written by David Brin back in 2005 after Katrina. This link is to the first of three.

"I am still trying to figure out how you can be pro-life and pro-gun at the same time, but then I am a bit slow."
I have often pondered that very question!!!
GMTA - Great Minds Think Alike
Pro-life often somehow encompasses being pro-capitol punishment, pro-war and being in support of for-profit healthcare.
