Ducks

Seems as though there is a fascination with ducks. Personally I like mine grilled, but here are some that are still kicking.

/t.: I was using my Lomo point and shoot and Fuji Film. This is the second and last time I use Fuji, it always seems to have a greenish cast to it.

Beautiful pix, Phos ... I'm not too much into eating ducks, I like chicken better, but I love ducks as animal / bird ... They are intelligent

Ducks are greasy. I like the pictures. It looks like in the first picture you have 2 parent ducks and a child duck.

kirsten: Thanks Kirsten. Chicken is great, but when duck is done right it can't be beat. The Chinese really seem to have away with them!

shruti: Thanks for dropping by!! It is nice to meet you...

LL: Steam the duck first, then grill it. I have a great Chinese roast duck recipe as well as a red-cooked duck recipe you might like.

dak: Actually there is a dog park there. I would think about taking the two of them if they weren't such mallet heads when it comes to other dogs. Yukon has an Alpha complex and Austrella just lashes out - we think it is a product of her former life.

keshi: Tempting as it was I think the people running the park would take a dim view of that. I'd be a little reluctant to put anything that came out of the pond in my mouth anyway, the water is mostly runoff.

That looks kinda nice. Glad you didn't take them home to eat!! ;) Do you have duck-shooting season over there? Or is it a year-round thing?
