Whatnot

The 2008 presidential race is already looking grim, between Mad Dog McCain and an arrogant ass who seeks to launch protests on the very day set aside to honor those who have given their lives for their country, the pickin’s are slim. It all boils down to more of the same – wealthy Washington clowns spouting the same tired dogma. It is high time for a real change in the way our government works, and definitely time for a change in the cast of characters.

We’ve hit a cool period, despite global warming – the temps have only been I the high 90’s. That is supposed to end this weekend, however. But even with the heat, a three day weekend is really welcome.

Emptying the Phone

One thing about my phone - it's a phone. As an afterthought someone added a 1/2 micro-pixel camera. If I am standing right on top of something and the light is just right I can get recognizable shapes... As I have said in the past, devices that profess ot have many functions rarely do any of them well...

Here's a couple my son sent me, much nicer subjects anyway...

And a grandpuppy that isn't too happy with the dinner situation...

Look at that cute Bumpkin!!! Oh my goodness---he is a cutie!! I have a photographer friend who says if you can't take a good picture of a child you have to be retarded. They are cute no matter what! Hope your well Phos! And the phone camera thing? I don't even bother taking a pic with the phone unless it's naughty or nessisary(say---a traffic accident---). They are just the worst. (and yes i know i misspelled that argggggghhhhh)

Cute grandson and grandpuppy.

I'm voting for Fred Thompson if he will ever throw his frigging hat in the ring.

Phos, Ur hilarious! Sorry I haven't been here for a while; still kind of on the mend (still sick akshully!) First: U had me LMAO @ Chef B.J. Reacharound! Your day as a fish was way too funny (man, is that really how fish see?), and Yukon looks great as a pack dog! ;)

Grandbaby is A-Do-Ra-Ble! (as is Grandpuppy!) Poor grandpuppy wants food! Feed grandpuppy now!

PPD: I saw an article about a woman putting on a Phone Art exhibit, so I had to play around with it. There's an old saying, "the best camera is the one you have with you"... Actually Keshi takes some awesome photos with her phone, I suspect hers is a couple notches above mine in quality - mine doesn't even make a very good phone when you come right down to it.

EC: Yep, the baby takes after me - extraordinarily cute. The main difference is I haven't wet myself in over two years.

hammer: Thanks! I'll have to check Thompson out, but I heard wiht all the early primaries if you haven't thrown a lot of money at the campaign by that point you are hosed. Unless Thompson has some deep pockets he may be SOL.

jewels: Hope you are feeling better. I discovered the secret to getting lots of hits - post pictures of dogs and kids!!

The 2 kids are adorable. (grandbaby and grandpuppy) I also like the pictures of the planes.

I have a camera phone and I like it.

Yes, we've got to do something about our government, like get better parties or at least honest ones.

I love that my phone is just a phone. It's frustrating to get a photo of the cutest baby in the world that has crappy resolution.

Keshi: Thanks. I miss the little guy and the grandpup.

kirsten: Thank you! Seems as though all our dogs are food driven...

ll: Thanks! The thing I like about the camera phone is there isn't any screwing around, you just take the picture and what you get is what you get.

dak: I think you have a higher tech camera than mine. It is convenient in that I almost always have the phone with me.

/t.: They both are kids!!

/sl: It is still fun to see I have message with a woopert attachment.
