...Cain't be more than a hunnered n' fourteen!!
Yeah, it’s hot. Going to get even hotter, but that’s OK with me. Heat is good repellant for snowbirds and tourists.
I am not sure if my daughter or I had taken the picture of the lizard at Deer Valley Rock Art Center, but he seemed to portray the idea of hot pretty well. He is trying to cool off. Now me, I’d just move.
That brings us to the line between humans and beasts, arguably fuzzy at best, especially when considering NASCAR fans. One comic said the fact we aren’t afraid of small appliances is what separates man from beast. True to a point – I have a real healthy respect for the whirling blades of my food processor, though. Intelligence isn’t a good measure – look who has my spot on the bed…
You all grab some shade and a beer and I’ll see you later.

Lizard says, "My biscuits are burnin!"
very cute pic of the dog :)
I hate lizards, Im so scared of em eeeeeeeeeee!
Keshi.
The pup knows where to sleep...the softies side of the bed!!! Hahaha!!!
SF: At least he didn't to peddle me any car insurance.
Keshi: I don't think you could get very close before his guy took off. Even our poisonous lizard, the Gila monster, is pretty bashful - if he bites it is because you had it coming. BTW I read an aritcle on Zuni Language (a tribe out this way) and "Keshhi" is their word for "hello". Interesting, no??
Jin: Softie? I have a higher "sleep number" than Chuck Norris!!
Kiddo I came here to say that like u suggested, I went n got a hot choc for me...I feel so much better now, thanks!
hehe ur right abt the lizards' speed. I had a blue-tongue liz right in front of me once when I was bush-walking with a friend. I screamed so loud and in a mili-sec it was gone..
**Zuni Language
Keshii is Hello? awww so interesting!what exactly is Zuni language? where do they speak it?
Keshi.(bye this time!) :)
That dog is extremely intelligent. Or maybe it's pay back for making them wear those ridiculous hats on the 4th of July.... hahaha!
What irks me about the heat (apart from the sweat and the smell) is that there is a finite limit to peeling off clothes. Once you've hit that point there's nothing you can do. In the cold, on the other hand, you can just keep adding layer upon layer, or whiskey upon whiskey, 'til you're feeling just right. BTW - we have had only one day above 65F this summer. I love it.
it's SO SO hot here today in Montreal. The only things I want to do are: dive in a pool, eat sundae non-stop, stay in the basement and blog...which is exactly what I'm doing right now.
I wish you and your daughter a happy week-end. :)
See ya~
Keshi: Everything goes better with chocolate.
The Zuni are a tribe of Southwestern Indians that live in AZ, NM, and Colorado. The article was about a project to save their langauge - the old Zuni speakers are slowly dying off and the kids aren't picking up the old language.
Nanuk: The benefit for me is not having to shovel the heat of the dirveway and sidewalk.
FP: Arizona is a basement-challenged state. Odd as it might seem in our neck of the woods basements tend to fill up with water. Of course then I would have that indoor pool I always wanted!
It seems like it's hot everywhere. Better grab another beer!
Ben: Just heading to the fridge for another 4 Peaks Kiltie. Great idea!
Your are Nice. And so is your site! Maybe you need some more pictures. Will return in the near future.
