Other Kinds of Birds

Winds have abated somewhat and the day was cool, only in the 80's. It is supposed to be back into the 90's over the weekend, so I have that going for me, which is nice.

Nice birds. They don't have feathers. Do they lay eggs?

I used to want to be a pilot once upon a time, someone smashed my dreams once upon a time telling me that I was too tall... I'm five ten is that true? Maybe for the air force, but not for air lines I think...

ll: Why yes they do lay eggs - explosive ones...

/t.: Thanks. The top picture was taken with a Diana "toy" camera. It uses 120 film. The White Tank Mnts in the background take on a purplish look because of all the dust in the air.

Becky: I know several women fighter pilots and some of them are quite tall. I don't think there are any hight limitations.

My personal favorite has always been the A-10 Tank Killer. It's tiny, swift, and efficient.

Thanks for the blog visit yesterday. :)

Great photos. It reminds me of working on the flight line at Williams AFB many years ago.

Thanks all. This isn't far form WIlliams actually - the newer planes are all trainers and just visiting -the Old Saber is what I like to call a "stuffed" plane in that it is just a display.
