Thunder and Lightning...

Rough night at sea, sir. I was hoping to capture some images of the Lunar eclipse, but the Wx wasn't cooperating - we have a series of storms moving through the area. I did get a short video of some lightning before deciding it would be best to move back in doors.

It was cloudy by me. I saw a little of it anyway. I went outside while it was happening and saw part of the moon and saw Saturn too! If I had a telescope I could have seen the rings around Saturn. Alas I didn't have one.

ll: Glad you got to see it! I've been thinking about getting a telescope as well, unfortunately it is pretty bright here from all the city lights.

she: Of course it cleared up right after the event leaving a gorgeous, but uneclipsed full moon!

pink: The rain was welcome but it would have been nice if it had the decency to wait until after the eclipse!

There is real power to thunderstorms. It's wonderful and beautiful.

tkk: We did get some rain out of the deal, it was nice!

indigo: Lots of power out here during the summer - with all the heat we have it really makes the T-Storms pop.
