Ah to Sleep, Perhaps to Dream

If there is one thing I admire about dogs it is their ability to lie down and be in dream land mere seconds later. No tossing and turning, no trying to get comfortable, just plop down and next thing you know you are chasing dream bunnies...

Awwww Phos! I could never be angry with you!!!! I've just lost track of so many of my virtual friends because of being silly-swamped at work and trying to get through my divorce, and also because all 3 of us have been down hard with nasty stomach flu and colds that just won't go away!!

My dog are more noisy when sleeping, whilst I fall a sleep by just looking at my pillow ... guess, I am a kind of bitch, after all ;-)

My dog and two cats seem to be able sleep any old time.

It's not so easy for me. My mind races sometimes and won't be quiet long enough to fall asleep. I guess that's the problem with being a divided entity. Sleep comes eventually, but rarely quickly. Urrrrg.

But getting back to the critters.... There are few things cuter than a Himalayan cat all curled up on the couch. What a furrball! :)

Phos, your mutt seems to be exhibiting a classic ringed seal attack strategy. Send him/her right up, with a SASE just in case.

Does the dog know she was being filmed during sleep? Probably not.

EC: Sorry to hear you have the flu, just wanted to make sure I didn't say something wrong - I can get carried away sometimes. Get better soon!!!

/t.: They just don't lie still...

a-l: I doubt you are a bitch, you seem very nice to me.

indigo: We have one advantage, our brain clutches to when we sleep so we don't wake up worn out from chasing bunnies.

nanuk: She is a big hunter, can snatch a toy flying helicopter right out of the air. She has fairly short fur and I don't think she'd last long up in those parts.

Thank You Phos, but You are always free to change Your mind!

I have a question upon Your comment about peace in Balkan and Europe:

This sounds ominous : "... We'll get to it ...". Phos do You by "We will" mean You Americans?

Our cat, Hazel, has the same ability. Lately she has been demanding more lap time. Apparently there is nothing like a nice lap upon which to sleep, perchance to dream.
