Casting Call

I took Mrs. Phos back to the Dr and so far so good, however, she still has to be in a cast for another four weeks. She picked a red one this time, very stylish and chic to be sure.

Dogs are off to the pet-lodge for a bath so by 1600Hrs we should have clean, albeit damp huskies. They've needed a bath for some time now and fate finally caught up with them.

The clouds are rolling in and we should have rain by Saturday if the weather jack-ass is correct, though I wouldn't put money on it. We have had a fairly wet winter, for here and the roses love it.

I will be harvesting lemons soon as well; the lemon tree has been busy.

foam: Thanks! The lemons don't get much fresher than that, now if I could only get the lime tree to cooperate...

keshi: Thanks!!!

Aww Mrs. Phos has been casted for quite a while it seems. I hope she recovers quickly..I do dig the red cast though..

We have a small key lime tree but so far have only gotten on lil' lime of it. Now Mangoes are quite a different story...come summer..we are innundated. I'd love to have that many lemons...yum

Red is my favorite color. Mrs. Phos has good taste.

dm: Tough call on cold rain or snow. I have been out hunting in both - at least you are dry and cold in the snow...

leelee: We don;t heal up quite as quick as we used to, it sucks getting old! I've been told it takes lime trees several years to establish themselves before they really start producing. Ours had a set back with a bad frost last year - we lost our dwarf grapefruit to a bad frost last year...

ll: Used to be you had a choice of colors as long as it was white. The new casts come in all sorts of colors...

Well, if you have to have a busted leg, at least you get to have a cute cast! You could offer to paint her nails in a matching shade.

Speaking of dog baths makes me smell mine even more. I swear, after Stinky dog is gone, I'll never have another dog that can't be washed in the sink.

Beautiful rose too.
