40 Days and 40 Nights

Well, not quite that much rain but it has been raining off and on the past several days and looks to continue through Monday. All the horrid storms that hit California are now making their way across Arizona, though they aren't as fierce as they were when they hit Sacramento.

The humming birds have been so cold it is tough for them to fly much. The one in our tree (using the term tree loosely pitched out on the ground when I tried to get his picture and I was afraid he was done, but a second later he was off over the wall to escape the hummingbird paparazzi.

The weekend has been quiet, which is nice. Just hanging about the Tiny House watching the rain come down. Hope you all had a mellow weekend as well...

/t.: I did take these, didn't even cycle them through photoshop before posting. It has been a while since I have done any picture taking, aside from happy snaps of my grandson. Thanks for the comment, I appreciate it!!

ruela: Thanks!

ll: Austrella has strange ears, one is a regular flap kind of ear the other is all kinds of twisted- not sure if it is the breed she is mixed with or if she had gotten it damaged before we got her. She can curl both ears, though.

hammer: We are still in a drought here, though considering we are in a desert I don't know how anyone can tell. There are too many people here and too much pressure on finite resources.

keshi: Have to swing by and check. Loved the music in the bracelet post!!

I'm sure the dog appreciates the cooler weather. Has she ever been in snow? If so, what was her reaction?

Rain can take it's toll on your mood so easily, at least it does with me. Here's to having sunny days all winter with no snow all season!!! Besides the snow we already had.

Still cool but the rain has passed. I will hopefully have some new pictures up soon. The dogs have never seen snow, as far as I know - we got both as pre-owned pups so we don't know much about their past history. Lucky Dog, our first Sibe mix loved snow - she'd bust through drifts, pick snow up in her mouth and fling it in the air.
