Had to Happen Sooner or Later

Interesting weekend – had a great time with my daughter and her husband and some great news from my son and his wife. As if I wasn’t already feeling older then dirt, I found out there is a little grandphos in the works. This is wonderful news and despite a touch of “chronophobia” I am excited.

I can’t wait to teach the li’l whelp some good stories and jokes to take to school, buy him or her that drum set down to the wal-mart, and pass on uses of fire their parents might not impart. Damn, it is going to be fun!!

You'll have to do the same thing to the phoslette's first pic!

Congrats GrandPappy!

LP11: Have to make sure the kid is properly sugared up before he or she goes home to mom and dad

Jin: Just part of my plan to take over the world by populating it with phoslings. Can’t wait to spoil the kid rotten!!

FP: “American Gothic” (the artwork I vandalized) was painted back in the 30’s so the desperate house wife would have had to have been taken from American Gothic. She is a biscuit, though…

Keshi: I have lots to pass on, most of which won’t please mom and dad, but a kid has to learn about stuff from somewhere. Better Grandpa Phos then the school yard, eh?

LP11: Tried to pay your Altered States site a visit but Blogger told me to go flush - might is your site down?

ALL: "Afraid of the Dark" seems to have been high-jacked - I get a different site when I try to visit old Dirk. If this continues I may remove the link. Anyone heard from Dirk the Feeble at all? That was a popular site.

Congradulations Phos! When your grandchild kicks andscreams him/herself into this world, keep em happy, and buy the toys that make the noise..like fire trucks and stuff....get back on your kid for every pain in the arse thing he did as a child. I plan on doing that if my sisters ever decide to make me an aunt....that'll show em for hogging the bathroom in the mornings before school!

I wish I had a classy grandphos than the boring school yard that sometimes makes kids bimbos.

Congratulations!

About "Afraid of the Dark" - he had a post up about a month ago where he said that he was going to stop blogging at the end of July because he was getting a new job and wouldn't have time at the new one to blog.

Chickie: Thanks, I did not see the note about the Blog!!

Stranger: Thanks! If the kid cries ol' gramps is going to give him/her the candy!!

Cherry!: It scares the hell out of me – my son and his wife should be very – I will be the bad influence in the little phosite’s life.

FP: No worries, thanks for stopping by! This Blog isn’t exactly a bastion of culture, but once in awhile you might get lucky, like when I vandalize fine art.

Keshi: Always a delight, though classy is one term that has never been applied to ol’ Phos.

I think the Little Grandphos needs a chemistry set, a Red Ryder BB gun, every slimy gloopy floamy gunky toy (that doesn’t play nice with hair) on the market, and a drivable baby SUV (with a radio). Forget the drum set.

EC: Thanks!

SL: A can of lighter fluid, bag of plastic army men, and a book of matches was all I ever needed when I was a kid - good enough for Woopert the First.
