Beating Swords into Plowshares

That is an old timey way of saying finding a peaceful use for some not so peaceful things, or to stop fighting and turn to things that really matter. I am not sure what a plowshare is, not sure I care, but the point is there are peaceful uses for weaponry such as this MK-84 Bomb body for instance:

It makes an excellent grill and is heavy enough that no one is going to be able to steal it. One word of caution - be sure all the explosive is scooped out before firing up the grill!

No worries, this was an inert, never actually had any explosive in it. Although considerably thicker than most grills, it is made out of the same metal found in your home grill.

So, as I am not yet affected in Western ORE, hear is the weather report from the natl weather service for bend.

Bend-- TODAY...SUNNY. PATCHY SMOKE. HIGHS 78 TO 84. SOUTH WIND 5 TO 15 MPH SHIFTING TO THE NORTHWEST 10 TO 20 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS
IN THE AFTERNOON.

.TONIGHT...MOSTLY CLEAR. LOWS 45 TO 53. NORTHWEST WIND 10 TO 20 MPH AND GUSTY IN THE EVENING BECOMING LIGHT.

CS: I do hope the fire crews get a handle on the fires quickly. From the pictures you have been posting it doesn’t look all that dry - not like out here anyway. Take care!!

You may have just given me an idea for my next project. I wonder what I might come across at the salvage yard?

Hell, I bet the burgers coming off that thing taste better (more American) than those that come off of one of those reg'lar grills...
