The Stupernatural

I read Rabbit’s Blog on mediums and really enjoyed her views and the ensuing commentary. It also got me thinking about the supernatural, or lack thereof. From ghosts to UFOs most humans seem to have a strong fascination with the out of the ordinary. Others are hanging on every word about Tom Cruise’s latest gaff, but he transcends the paranormal into the extreme abnormal. Perhaps he was standing too close to his personal ultrasound machine and it gelled what little bit of brain matter he had, we won’t know until the autopsy, performed in the very near future, I hope. Enough of the cruise talk.

We have here, in the great state or Mexizona the highly acclaimed and much vaunted Power Vortex. Can’t find the vortex? Just look for large clusters of overage hippies and it will be nearby, though mostly in their marijuana riddled minds. Anyone that tells you marijuana is harmless is…is…ah, I forget – what were we talking about? Anyone got a bag of cheetoes?

The vortex is somewhere in the Redrock country of Sedona. I have commented on it before but it is such a colossal tear in the time-space continuum that it bears further mention. It has opened a portal in time and hippies from the 60s have come pouring out. They quickly settled near the vortex in Sedona and began opening shops selling crystals and graven images of various gods and demigods. Sedona is also a great place to pick up that tie-dyed shirt or jacket with the Nehru collar in case you missed that moment in time (count yourself lucky if you have) – Rabbit could even have her fortune told in one of the many psychic parlors in town.

I expect the Ghost of Woodstock Past may be roaming lost and dazed through the streets of Sedona, searching for his lost stash, but I don’t have any proof. In fact the only ghost I have an acquaintance with is Casper and he is a cartoon.

I think once you shuffle off this mortal coil you are gone for good, unfinished business or not, ergo you better make sure you have any loose ends tied up before you kick it. The human mind is very complex and left to its own devices can conjure up all sorts of sights, sounds, and convince us they are real. Including the strange apparition of the Lady in White that appears at the top of the hotel stairs at the stroke of midnight searching for the man who done her wrong. I could be wrong and wind up like the lion of Oz chanting “I do believe in spooks, I do believe in spooks…” but I don’t think so. When the lights finally go out that is the end of the story, so make the most of the life you have and don’t hope for something better after you make the final payment on that legendary farm.

Ah Ha! So you essentially follow Yoda's advice do you?:

"Do. Or don't do. There is no try."

Only for you it maybe translates as:

"Live. Or don't live. There is no Vortex"!

**Exits stage left - chuckling softly to self; but the careful listener can hear, very faintly: "May the Vortex be with you TPK"!**

(Sorry - couldn't resist!!)

What no Heaven? No Bardo? No becoming one of Paris Hilton's dogs in the next life for bad things you did in this one?

I dont see it that way at all. I believe everyone of us IS a immortal soul, which goes through many human lifes. (of course I just "believe")
I don't believe in ghost like Caspar, but in my view, it can be, that - for different reasons - a soul can't leave after the dead of the human body. Could be heavy emotions, the circumstances of dead or whatever other reasons. So it has to stay here and wait for someone to "free" it. A rather easy process if you're strong enough and not afraid of it.
I did pretty much research on this topic the last few years... sure, it's still just a believe. But I do and don't care if others don't. Who cares

btw, I don't think this "medium"-stuff makes sense. We don't have to talk to them and ask our many questions (we wouldnt unterstand that eigther), we have to let them go. That's the only point.

haha, prob you think I'm crazy now....
