The Rain on the Plain falls mainly on the Phos

I didn't think much would come of the clouds rolling in this morning, just a gloomy day. It did rain, while I was walking back form one of the hangars, of course. The day was nice and cool, nice enough that I could plant Mrs. Phos's new rosebush without breaking a sweat.

i miss the smell of after a rain in the desert....truly a unique sniff!

But....
it's not good to paint walls in such high humidity, so, I'll come back when it's drier....

B-man: Thanks for dropping by - my wife and I can't decide on colors anyway so you are safe.

gt3: I do love the desert, but have to admit I miss the woods from time to time, especially in the fall. Thanks!!

pink: Thanks! Nothing stays wet out here for long!

/t.: Thanks /t.! The skies are nice except on high pollution days - the desert is nice, not so nice with a city built in it.

ll: Word veri is gone so make sure to shop for all your pharmaceuticals with the fine folks that will soon be leaving ads on my site... Hope you are far way from all those fires in FL!!! We all know how flammable sheep are!!

ruela: Thanks!! I usually use a Canon Rebel Xt 10.1 MP camera, but the flower was taken with a Canon S3 Sureshot and the landscapes with a Kodak C763. The Kodak is small and I like to carry it in my pocket for those special Kodak moments!!

..............: Thanks!!!

The fires are everywhere in FL. I haven't seen any in person, though.

The 'view from the firehouse'-picture is really great. I almost can feel the cool inside/hot outside!

Are you a Fireman?

Ruela: That is a nice camera as well. I have my dad's old Leica 35mm I need to learn how to use and a medium format (120 film) Pentax 645 I bought at an auction. I want to use it to take some landscape photos.

LL: Good, stay away from the fires. I guess they caught some joker that may have been setting the FL fires on purpose.

DM: Thanks. USAF has some awesome fire trucks and I am hoping to get some shots of them as well.

LeeLee: Nope, I fix computers and load software - a computer monkey.
