Not Just Another Pretty Face

I had the chance to tour Venice with a Belgian friend many years ago and came across this picture to prove once and for all Phos is not an uncultured oaf, merely a regular oaf. The city was beautiful, but the stench coming off the canals on this hot summer day was almost overpowering. The Eau de Venitia was worth putting up with to see all the beautiful buildings and walk back into the pages of time. It wasn't hard to imagine the city as the bustling center of business trade and wealth it once was.

Take two:

Zat YOU?
Dang! Looks like you lost weight! (they're as rare as hen's teeth [I think Red Dovey proved hens CAN have teeth] but it seems to me I've seen a picture of you looking maybe thirty pounds heavier)

None the less, that structure there behind you is way interesting to me because it's the elements that comprise the whole.
I LOVE that kind of stuff!
(oh, sure...the saber teeth WERE cool, but, this is archi-texture!)

How do the canals of El Mirage smell in the heat of a summer's day?

I love finding old photos, that is a nice one of you Phossy dear and you do look like an artist.
I have never thought of you as uncultured or any kind of oaf.
Wow! Venice,'Serenissima', the architecture must have been wonderful,so much history, birthplace of Antonio Vivaldi, venetian and Murano glass.
It's a shame with all of that ingenuity that the sewerage system could not be repaired and upgraded. ♥
